So, to follow up on the last post, here's yet another exploration of the Northern California coast. Yet again with One Trip Pass, and also our good friends Mister Mort and Lou.
This time it's our journey to Takilma, OR, up Rt. 101 on the Avenue of Giants. It took place earlier this spring and is one of my favorite trips to date. Truly magical millennium Redwoods, napping on the banks of the Russian River, sleep overs in treeforts, driftwood and wild packs of chihuahuas. Northern California is treating me well...
Mine is the third photo installment of this trip, so visit One Trip Pass and Mister Mort to see their captures of the journey.

Curly's Motel was built from a single Redwood tree in the 50's. This is a photo of the original tree.
Recently we had the opportunity to get out of town for a few days and explore the epic coast of Northern california. Sea Ranch is located about 100 miles north of San Francisco and is the perfect getaway. I already miss the fog, the cliffs, the redwoods and the total quiet.
