Dream Team

Earlier this year my good friend and very talented artist Pacolli asked if I'd be interested in participating in a group show called Dream Team she was curating in her hometown of Sao Paolo, Brazil. Needless to say it was kind of a no-brainer, and in October the show went up! The line-up is impressive to say the least with artists such as Pacolli herself, Mildred, Mats?!, Esther Pearl Watson, LL COOL JO, Mark Todd, just to mention a few...

The Last Few Months...

I've been terrible with updating lately, so here's a pile of new tattoo work I've done recently at Idle Hand and on my travels:

Gypsy Life

Once again the wanderlust strikes and I venture east.



This time I'm going to Provincetown, a sanctuary at the furthest tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. A few good days of sun, ocean, bonfires, 4x4's, drag queen karaoke, and mostly some good tattooing. I'll be doing a guest spot with my good friends Khristian and Andrea at Mooncusser Tattoo.
I will be there from July 11th - July 16th, call the shop or email me to schedule an appointment, as this will be my ONLY tattoo stint on the East coast for a while...

I will be making a brief stop in Portland, ME, after P-Town, but I will NOT be tattooing at Squid & Whale on this trip, quality time with friends is priority this time.

Next stop on my travels is Santa Fe, NM, for some desert magic, and possibly some tattooing at 4 Star Tattoo with my good friend and incredible tattooer Mr. Eric Jones, who is doing some traveling of his own. Follow his journey and enlightened musings on his blog.

Sketch Tuesdays @ 111 Minna Gallery

I've been chosen to participate in the 111 Minna Gallery's Sketch Tuesdays this month in San Francisco, CA. It's a fun event with about 20 artists creating whatever they feel like and the art will be immediately available for the public to purchase right there at the event, directly from the artist...

Cut 'N' Color: The Film

Darin Howard, who curated the "Cut 'N' Color" show at the Pretty Pretty Collective teamed up with Agency Charlie and made this short film about the event:

Two bands, Young Offenders and Airfix Kits, will be playing on the roof, and we will be doing our famous $60 "Get What You Get" tattoos all night long!

Cut N' Color: The Reception

So the reception for the Cut N' Color" show at the Pretty Pretty Collective was insane!
Over 500 people came out, and the caliber of tattooers participating was some of the best I've ever seen!
