Birds, Bears & Battle Axes

Cali Bear
I wish I got to do tattoos like this every day! A new take on the California state flag.

Monocle Skull
Andrew keeps coming in for more fun stuff! Little filler monocle skull and web.

Riley's Rooster
Riley's been wanting a rooster tattoo for years, I had a ton of fun drawing this and can't wait to finish it!

Bear Cub
For her first tattoo ever, Brittany got something a bit different from my usual work. She wanted a piece inspired by 1940's Golden Books children's illustrations, and this is what we came up with.

Rose and Swallows chest piece
Jackie sat like a champ and got this chest piece dedicated to her two sisters. (Click on image for full view)

Miss Nina
First session on the ever lovely Miss Mardi who came all the way from Melbourne, Australia! This tattoo is inspired by Mardi's amazing Devon Rex cat Nina. Doesn't she remind you of Kiki's cat Jiji in Hayao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service?
Healed Art Deco
I met Mardi last year when she came out to get this Art Deco inspired tattoo. It's always a pleasure to see her, unfortunately we didn't have nearly enough time for fun hang out! Next time maybe I'll be seeing her Down Under...?

Finally, last sunday I did this little guy four different times on a group of San Francisco boys. Good times and buddy tattoos!

  1. all super cool, but Brittany's is my favourite, its so pretty! You did a really good job :) x

  2. Amazing work, in'it? Jolly good work, gov'nor!

  3. I'm loving the rooster Hanna! It's super pretty! Kinda funny seeing my cat girl all red after inking! Can't wait for her to be finished! Brittany's came out a treat too! kisses!

  4. OMG I am really into tattoos and have six already. One of my good friends is a tattoo artist and he's done all my tats, and I have to say I love your work. I am an even bigger fan since you also are familiar with Hayao Miyazaki! :)
